What services are available?

You can find a complete list of services and pricing here. Pricing is tiered based on which services you’re receiving and your stylists level of experience and education. Some of our cornerstone services include the Touch-Up Cut (a cut that maintains the shape and style of your current hair style), the Custom Cut (a change in the shape/style of your hair), Base Coloring, Highlights, Lowlights, and Ombre/Specialty Color.

Some of these services can be combined (for instance, a Touch-Up Cut can be combined with single-color Highlighting).

 How should I arrive?

We wash your hair with Hair Story’s amazing “New Wash” during most cuts or coloring processes so you don’t need to worry about keeping your hair product-free the day of your cut or color appointment.

If you’re coming for a style/updo please come with product-free hair.


What should I bring with me?

It’s always a good idea to bring a few pictures of the hairstyle you’re looking for so your stylist will have a clear idea of how you want to look when you leave!

Some processes take several hours so please feel free to bring snacks and entertainment (electronic devices or something to read). We always have water and the latest magazines available to our clients.


 How long will my appointment last?

Touch-up cuts (the quickest process) take 30-60 minutes. Custom cuts take about an hour. For color, plan for at least two hours. Please double-check appointment lengths with your stylist when you book your appointment.

Nearly all appointments include shampoo, condition, and custom styling.


 What products are used at Cut Loose Hair Emporium?

Cut Loose Hair Emporium is transitioning from Bumble and Bumble products to Hair Story products.   While we still stock and use some Bumble and Bumble styling products, we have found that “New Wash” by Hair Story leaves our clients’ hair in superior condition.  When you feel the Hair Story difference, we think you will agree!  Purchase Hair Story here!
